Good job...walking and bringing your camera along. Whenever I see a good shot I think...Darn, should have brought the camera...yet I forget it again the next time!
Oh, this is great ~ Rhonda and I tried to capture one of these so many times but their dive was over before our click and they were behind waves. Good catch!!
Great photos John. I've always love pelicans they look so prehistoric. Didn't know they were in CA too. Have seen them in Florida. And to see the sea otters at play must be delightful. :)
OMG ~ you added some new ones ~ they are terriffic ~ these fellows look like they are having so much fun!!! WHAT A LIFE ~ playing and eatting in the water all the time!!!
Well I like both!! The water looks like a length of satin which has been casually draped - fantastic. I love the sea-otters as well....alas we don't have them in this part of the world although we have their sleeker, smaller river relatives.
Beautiful bird but not very social lol .... one tried to eat my 5 year old in Florida back in 2000 LOL !! Hey I'm Canadian .... I didn't know your not suppose to pet them lolol. (my boy was ok lol.. both scared to death but besides a few bruises we were ok)
This looks like aphoto that could be taken at one of those Sea Place thingies....LOL. ...Like Sea World I mean. And here it is right out in the wild. fantastic John.
Beautiful! The only thing I miss about living in Houston, was being so close to the Gulf. But the area of the Gulf of Mexico at Galveston isn't nearly as pretty as that water. LOL Hell of a lot warmer I bet however. I take it this is Monterrey Bay or somewhere close?
I love sea lions. so regal in and out of the water. unlike their cousin the cille, I mean seal, LOL that just kind of flops on land but finds her grace in the water.
amazing shot!
