LANCASTER, Pa. (AP News) – A central Pennsylvania man said he robbed a bank in 2007 to go to jail and get away from his overbearing wife. At a sentencing hearing Monday, 39-year-old Anthony Miller said he robbed a bank in Ephrata because he wanted to leave his then-wife but she had threatened to commit suicide if he did. Defense attorney Robert Beyer said Miller approached tellers with a BB gun, asked for money and told them to call the police. He said Miller even asked for updates on their efforts to reach authorities. Miller pleaded guilty in June. Lancaster County Judge Louis Farina sentenced him to three to six years in prison on Monday. Beyer said the couple divorced within the last year. Not that I am a continual headache, I have a continual headache. And will workers comp okay the massage? Of course not. And will my lawyer dispute that? No, I cannot even get him to return a phone call. Anyway, the Air Show is coming up, and the Blue Angels are practicing. So I stopped close by to watch them. Words cannot do justice to describe their flying. I have, hopefully, some decent pictures. Sure glad Heather has trained us to take our cameras with us!!! The Angels were cool to say the least, but I missed my appointment with Bambi, and I am paying for that with a splitting down the middle, running down my back, filtering through my left arm all the way to my hand, nauseous pain!!!!
