MONO MONDAY #57 (MONDAY PLUS #43)

MonoMonday:  A beauty queen in her own right!!  LadyBug with her favorite toy, until she tore the squeaker out of it!!

 

I decided to highlight her big baby browns by taking the color out all but her eyes, but then decided to put the color back into the ball.  After all, it was her favorite.

 

 

And for the Plus #43, Gator kindly gave me permission to use his Peacock picture from two weeks ago. 

 

 

 

I lightened it up just a touch:

 

 

I have seen this trade done on other Peacock pictures, and thought I would give it a try. Here's looking at you!

    The lady is a beauty and she looks very beautiful with the colors of her favorite toy!

    So it's not the night that has a thousand eyes ~ it's the peacock!!! :)

    hey Pengy..so good to see you with us this week..and ladybug is a darling..the bw gives a nice soft feel to her markings...and the brown eyes really set it off...and im sure she appreciates the color back on her toy....and the rework on the peacock is awesome guy..i feel like im being stared at though...very nice on both projects old bird

    Lady Bug is a sweetie! I think you were right to add the colour back to the ball, as well as her eyes. It's a great job. :)

    John, I love the peacock...such a great use of color... I like the way the "eyes" pop out at you.
