The phrase or word this week:
oh how I miss it
It used to be
so long and wavy
Thick and warm
shiny and soft.
So gracefully flowing
when the wind was blowing
thick and long
rich and full.
I knew would come a day
when it would start turning gray
instead all it did
was turn loose.
Oh How I Miss It!!!
Thank you for stopping in! Give all the combs to the needy!
ReplyDeleteAm a bit speechless but I think my husband would realise that feeling
ReplyDeletepengy..you know the thing with hair
ReplyDeletewith some its parted
and others, de-parted
Long and flowing....REALLY???

ReplyDeleteI love it. Tom would appreciate this one too. It reminds me Tom was never a long hair until about age 40 and then he decided to grow it out when it started receding from the front. One day his 90 year old father told him that he looked older and balder with the long locks so he cut them off. Oh well. Anyhow, I love your poem!
