TODAY IS THE DAY ---- VOTE!!!

Today is the day, we have a priviledge and a right to express our opinion.  It was given to us through others' sweat and blood and sacrifice. Most of the world's people do not have this right, others can only go through the motions.  Do not take your right for granted.  Please be sure to vote, and vote informed.

  1. The very first year I'm voting without my Dad's input...I'm glad you've done your part in helping me be informed John. Even though in CA I often feel my vote doesn't count for who gets elected to President...I still do it.

I told him I was allowed because for 2 years of my life I've been exposed to it as much as any American... he had a good giggle... but still nudged me away with a tap on my butt. 11. Received a call from Owen tonight to wake me up for work...
He wanted to tell me he voted at school today and he wanted to tell
me he voted for John McCain... Said,"Do you want to know why I voted
for John McCain, Nanna?" Of course I did want to know how a 5 year old came to this decision.... he said because
Barock Obama won't look at the flag or say the pledge...
I told him I had voted too... lol.. he said he knew.. his Mom had told him.
It is a right and a privilege. Thank you, John for giving us such un bias
    informed blogs!

  12. If only I were allowed I would've voted... Alas, we don't get to vote for the person with a world wide influence...
I always go to all elections held in Holland. For a new government, city council or whatever. We were given the right to vote; I feel an obligation to make use of that right.
