LOL John, is that a stop watch you are working on with the hammer lol? Very intricate indeed! Thanks for your visit. Nothing comes to mind here yet, so might pass on this subject...
ROFLMBO ~ Too intricate, just so funny.... terrific picture! Loved that you used the macro setting!!!! Great you being in PP ~ brings back a lot of smiles!!!! What a mind!!! The best!!!! Thank you for your visit!
I have an antique grandfather clock my dad left me ....it's not working and I was going to have you look at it while you were here next month.....ummmmmm......but I think me and Linda will make it our special project instead.....no offence but geez John....a pipe wrench and a hammer....
Lol-this is a really well done shot John. The composition, the lighting, the pattern on the table contrasting with the coil of the watch all make it very interesting.
Hahahahaha Touché John, touché! Great shot! Hope no fine objects were harmed in the making of this picture lolol. Thank you for your comment on my page!! Click here for my entry
Um, I did that once. The back of the (very cheap) watch just would not go on, pressed and squeezed but nothing, so I put it on a proper size ring and tapped on it with small hammer..... nothing, so tapped a bit harder... nothing...I knew unless it snapped in place it would likely break... tapped harder and yes, it broke... oh well. The jewelry people with all their appropriate equipment make is so easy. Oh well.
If it will get me a couple of new pocket watches, then yes I sacrificed my watch for PPF!! It was an old pocket watch of mine, it was battery powered so not an antique. It froze up a while back, and I had it in my junk drawer. Added some misc. parts from the junk drawer as there were not really many insides in the watch, and the outcome was the picture above! But I will still happily and thankfully accept another pocket watche(s)!!! :-)
I would share more pics of the glass castle with you if I had them. My Mom kept the really good ones and I only had the one on my computer. Sorry! Nice take on the theme though.
Must have been an intricate task -- the hammer might be too much /:-)

ReplyDeleteHmmm, why do I find myself wondering if the hammer was used as a last resort trying to work on something that was that touch TOO intricate? (heheh)

I had played with the idea of the inside of a watch...I'm glad somebody did it.
ReplyDeleteAs to my macros...I often have to title them or no one would know what it was.
