Wasn't sure I was going to come up with anything this week, but I went up to the airport to visit a friend (former brother-in-law, but still a good friend), and there it was in all its' glory, COMMUNICATION!!! It has lights, bells, whistles, not to mention some 20 odd antennas. Even two on the lower building, hard to spot though. Here is the Monterey Airport Control Tower. I was waiting for the airport police to show up and ask what I was doing taking pictures, I was thinking of answering them in broken English and some sort of heavy accent. . >
Just in case the large picture does not show up (through photobucket)
The camera is a Sony Easyshare Z612
Welcome to
P I C T U R E P E R F E C T
Each week a new theme will be posted here on Friday morning. You are invited to put up your best picture on your own blog with that theme in mind, and you do have the whole weekend to post your picture, so there is no rush
Remember it should be just ONE and ORIGINAL, taken by YOU,and not off the internet,
Then come back and leave a comment on this page in the comment box so that everyone can link to your blog and see your photo. Don't forget to OPEN your page to EVERYONE for that day.
By all means mention your camera and lens used, and if the picture has been altered or enhanced in any way, so we can all learn and improve our techniques.
Try and post a decent size picture on your blog page for an increased WOW factor. Often so much is lost or distorted if the size is too big or too small.
Remember this is NOT a competition, this about being creative having fun and being supportive of one another.
Out of the box thinking is encouraged.
~ Have FUN out there! ~
LOL....I love it. I was wondering when you were going to show up. I'm so glad you did as it's a great shot and perfect for the theme.
ReplyDeleteOh and btw...Betty is called "Betty" because she has two blue eyes......she's such a cute dog and belongs to my friend as do the horses. Sydney (her other dog, so called as I was in Sydney when she got her) was the one in trouble.
Excellent photo for communication. Wonderful job.

Great for the theme. I can't imagine the amount of time and energy focused on directing the safe take off and landing of so many planes, especially at the busier airports. We put a lot of trust in that communication tower!
