PROOF WE HAVE THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST IN WASHINGTON DC

Is it better for a politician to:

vote on a bill without reading it?

 0

read the bill and vote on it?

 0

read the bill AND understand it , then vote on it?

vote the way your highest paying lobbist wants you to vote?

 0

collect your pay, stay away from Washinton, and leave America alone?

I do not use the term much, but this guy is an idiot!  He makes a lame reason why politicians should not worry about reading bills before voting, and makes fun of those politicians who are saying, "wait a minute, read the bill before voting on it!"
I was going to play the 3 Stooges theme music, but that would interfer with the audio on  the video, well you can imagine the music. . .

  3. omg Conyers was in office when I was in MI 25 years ago! What a lame excuse for not reading. Oh well it's just means high pay gets the vote.... why read it ? It's stronger Kool-aid here /:-)

  5. I don't suppose we needed proof - but while these morons are actually given a crash-course in the Constitution, what's coming OUT surely indicates that they all slept in class....

  6. sigh..... the forefathers are rolling in their graves...... oh wait, they have been for the last 60 odd years or more.......

Everyone one of them needs to read The 5000 Year Leap...and memorize it.

  7. I tell you what..I've been saying it for years...it's time for a REVOLUTION...but, unfortunately, the Country is so fractured, we could never get enough people, thinking the same thing, to make a difference..so in essence...the Politicians win, by default, because..nobody gives a shit...

  8. I recently saw a bumper sticker that said "Stop bitching and start a revolution"
I think there should be limit to how long a politician can be a congressman like the Pres....Some of these old geezer's have been in there wayyyy too long.

  9. I say we would have a hell of a country without politicians!!! Unless of course, I could get paid billions of dollars to do nothing but stand around looking stupid (pretty, but stupid)!

  10. This is sad.... "What good is reading the bill if it is a thousand pages and you don't have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you've read the bill?"
dah..... you just flip a coin and vote on something you haven't even bothered to read...
    This is very scary!!!!

  11. Perhaps you should post a poll asking, "Would we be better off without governments".....LOL. Think of all the money that could be injected into the economy.

  12. That would be an interesting poll, but also interesting where it would lead, certainly different outcomes in different areas. . .

  13. LOL....I know I often felt that way in my own country. There was a place there called Hutt Province. One citizen succeeded from Australia and pronounced himself as King Hutt. It worked actually and I always wanted to do that....LMAO.

  16. It is absolutely unbelieveable that these men that we vote in are voting to pass or fail bills that they don't even read. I guess as long as they can collect their pay and perks that's all that matters.
